Kinda like how Sony exec's did at the beginning of the PS3.

OT,
It's really sad that the real "fanboys" are the ones who are supposedly gamers, not those who actually make them. Granted, you will have your haters out there but I believe that most developers respect and appreciate the contributions of other developers.

By "you people" hopefully you're speaking to those of us who actually play games and enjoy them, rather than fly flags for one side or another on n4g.

You state in your opinion piece, that "Move is beating out Kinect in preorders". Do you have any stats to support that claim? Make sure you provide sources to back up your claim. It's always best that whenever possible you back your source with at least three reliable sources.

I don't mean to be rude, but that made no sense at all. Could you elaborate on your statement for me?

In exactly what genre is Sony the leader in because I don't see it. I'll give you Uncharted 2 but other than that what are you talking about? And even then, it's not like there isn't competition, and add on to that the fact that it's a matter of opinion. For example, I thought both Batman and Assassin's Creed 2 were better games. Not by much but ...

Nice try. Especially how you lay out the qualifier of having the game come out first on PS3 to be considered for your "list".

This is the part GWAVE doesn't want you to realize.

The PS3 has lost a butt load of exclusives to the 360 this generation. They didn't come out first on PS3 for a reason; it was too difficult to work with and secondly, there wasn't a profit in it because the PS3 wasn't selling worth anything.

Another complaint in the long list of complaints from gamers this generation. Nothing is ever good enough, always something to moan about.

And don't care what anyone thinks, I go because it's fun. My wife and son are cool with it so why not? We enjoy gaming as a family and when I get excited about an upcoming release, they get excited as well. It's contagious, you can't help but to be.

I've meet friends at midnight launches years ago, six or seven to be exact. Those friends have been on my friends and have become family friends as well, for that same amount of time.

What the heck is going on here? I thought the articles submitted were looked at and approved first BEFORE being posted. What's the point of taking "the test" when you first sign up at the site if none of the things they put out as rules are broken.

There are zero named or mentioned "industry vets" in this article. All we are left with is a poorly written psuedo editorial by someone desperate for hits. Do us all a favor, leave journalism to those who ...

You mean opinion.

I purchased it at full price and it was well worth it. At this price however, it's a sure thing. However, don't do be fooled. Every PS3 exclusive that is praised to the heavens, for me, turns out to be overrated. God of War 3, Heavy Rain, Killzone2, Little Big Planet...they're all great games but not close to being the be all end all that some make them out to be. At the end of the day, you'll end up having a great gaming experience. Just ...

Stop writing for the sake of having something "new" to post. It's really getting annoying.

Every few minutes some "Why this is this" or "Why that is that" crap article is approved on n4g. Either the people approving need to be refreshed on what they should be doing or just do away with the approval system all together. It's about as "fair" as the bubble and disagree systems.

It seems that logikil's comment went ignored. And I quote:

"I have no urge to spin anything, but the short blurb about the article misrepresents the article proper. In the source article, there is no commentary from the developer at all. The portion that talks about efficiency is linked to a second article. When you get there, there is no comparison given about the efficiency of Kinect vs Move. That portion of the article didn't mention Kinect at all it just st...

Bubbles to you both.

I have been trying to make this point as well. Never, in the 20+ years I have been gaming, has PC gaming and console gaming been lumped together. They are exclusives. Period, pointblank and whatever the hell else you want to call it.

Would any of you argue that Halo:CE is not a 360 exclusive because you can play it on PC? Of course you wouldn't. Unless you're ignorant or a card carrying member of the sdf. This is why I give pr...

I can't believe you even tried to go there, what were you thinking? Not only did you own yourself but, Bulletproofish set you straight, ate your lunch and walked off rubbing the crumbs from his mouth.

Bubbles for bullet. I was going to give you a disagree J but after that, I kinda feel sorry for you. Here's a gold coin. Now, go back under your bridge.

Not really. If it's a 360 article or Kinnect, it's guaranteed that the same damn haters will be there. Filling the room with their nauseous presence. Not unlike someone farting in a room packed like sardines, with no escape.

OT:

I can't remember if it was joystiq's podcast or another one I was listening to about a week or two ago, when this very topic of lag came up. Essentially what they said was that playing Kinnect and watching it are t...

“We did worry about that. When you’ve worked on something for a very, very long time, there’s always the danger of getting bored with it. You become used to it, and where things once felt very exciting and original, you at some point start to doubt that and feel like, “well, we’ve seen this already, it’s not that exciting, we should think of something new.”"

The usage and context of the word "bored", isn't anywhere near what the headline reads as. Do any ...

You mean other than an excellent game with a handful of shortcomings, that people played for YEARS? Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't the last Halo2 players just not too long ago stop playing? And only then because they were forced?

I play Halo more for the universe than the story, and I wanted to play this level really badly. However, at the end of the day, I don't think it took anything away from my enjoyment of the game.

People will fin...

I would hope that the "public" didn't read these sites or reports. What's the difference between going to pretty much any given site; say n4g for instance, and reading what a bunch of fanboys and ignorant fools has to say and going to a gamestore and having to listen to fanboys and ignorant fools? I'm not saying all gamestore workers or forum members are like that. However, the exception is not the rule.

There isn't one.
